White Cube announces co-representation of Navajo artist Emmi Whitehorse
The gallery White Cube has entered into a co-representation agreement with Indigenous painter Emmi Whitehorse, alongside Garth Greenan Gallery. White Cube previously organized a solo exhibition for the artist at its Paris location in autumn 2025 and will feature her painting 'Father Sky meets Mother Earth' at Art Basel Hong Kong this month. Whitehorse, a member of the Navajo Nation, creates abstract landscapes using mixed media, drawing inspiration from her heritage and the Navajo concept of Hózhó, which emphasizes balance. Her work incorporates a personal symbolic language influenced by Native imagery.
