From June 12 to December 27, 2026, the Real Albergo dei Poveri in Palermo hosts 'La forma consumata. Arman, Rotella, Warhol', an exhibition organized with Museo Riso. The show examines how consumer society devours artistic form through the works of Arman (Armand Fernandez), Mimmo Rotella, and Andy Warhol. Arman's Accumulations transform everyday objects into quantitative ready-mades, documenting hyper-production. Rotella's décollage tears advertising posters to reveal buried layers of mass communication. Warhol's serigraphy annihilates uniqueness through infinite repetition, emptying icons of meaning. The historic venue, once a shelter for the poor, now houses fetishes of affluence, creating a curatorial paradox. The exhibition avoids nostalgia, instead posing urgent questions about visual saturation in today's hyper-digital age.
