Wallpaper* Launches Travel Guides at Milan Design Week with Kiosk Installation

Wallpaper* is launching four new Travel Guides for Milan, Paris, New York City, and London during Milan Design Week, marking the series' return after 20 years. The guides, curated by Wallpaper* writers, offer design-focused recommendations for neighborhoods, hotels, cafes, restaurants, bars, retail, and weekend excursions. To celebrate, Wallpaper* has taken over a flower kiosk in Milan as a pop-up shop from April 20th to 24th, 2026, at Via Tivoli 8, Milan, Italy. The kiosk was designed by architecture practice DWA, inspired by the Milan guide's yellow hue and the city's flower and newspaper vending spots. Milanese design studio NM3 created a trio of benches and a book display from zinc-plated iron panels in minimalistic arrangements to complement the guides. Visitors can purchase the guides at the kiosk or online from the Wallpaper Store starting April 20th, with a custom tote bag offered for buying all four. The event is part of Milan Design Week, and free guide giveaways are promoted on social media.
