Voice Actor Eugene Mirman Rescued from Burning Vehicle After New Hampshire Crash

Eugene Mirman, known for voicing Gene Belcher on the animated series 'Bob's Burgers,' was involved in a serious vehicle collision in Bedford, New Hampshire. The incident occurred before noon on Tuesday when his Lucid Gravity struck the Bedford Toll Plaza while traveling northbound on the F.E. Everett Turnpike. Witnesses reported the car had caught fire with the driver trapped inside. New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte and her security detail came upon the scene before emergency services arrived. A state trooper from the governor's detail, along with two others, extracted Mirman through a window from the burning vehicle. Governor Ayotte retrieved a fire extinguisher during the rescue. Mirman sustained significant injuries and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. His agent, Jay Glassner, confirmed the accident in a statement on Wednesday, expressing gratitude to bystanders, state police, first responders, and hospital staff. Mirman is currently recovering and has requested privacy for himself and his family. The crash remains under investigation by authorities. Mirman's role on 'Bob's Burgers' has contributed to the show's status as a popular animated comedy, which recently celebrated its 300th episode.
