Vitrocsa opens new Swiss headquarters showcasing minimalist glazing

Swiss window manufacturer Vitrocsa has completed its new headquarters at Y-Parc, Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland's first and largest technology park. The building consolidates all company activities under one roof and serves as a demonstrative showroom for its signature frameless window systems, refined since the early 1990s. Notable features include a six-meter-high pivot door and truck-accessible delivery entrances using guillotine windows up to nine meters tall. The site is ten miles southwest of the former base in Saint-Aubin-Sauges, both on Lake Neuchâtel. Swiss construction company Bat-Mann built the structure, installing its glazed skin. Sustainability measures include rooftop solar panels and concrete geothermal piles for energy storage. Founded in 1992 by watchmaking engineer Eric Joray, Vitrocsa invented the frameless window and manufactures all products in Switzerland, supplying projects across five continents from homes to high-rises. The brand's systems have been used by firms including Killa Design, Ström Architects, and BIG. Vitrocsa stated the headquarters embodies "precision, innovation and transparency" and supports growth in the international glazing market.
