Vincent Fournier's Retrofuturistic Universe

Vincent Fournier, a French conceptual photographer born in 1970 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, has been creating images at the intersection of science, technology, reality, and fiction since the early 2000s. His series include "Space Project" (2007–2023), "The Man Machine" (2009–2016), and "Post Natural History" (2012–2022), covering futuristic architecture, synthetic biology, space exploration, and robotics. Fournier studied at the École Nationale de la Photographie in Arles and now lives and works in Paris. His works are held in the permanent collections of the MET, Centre Pompidou, JP Morgan, Maison Saint Laurent, Collection Garance Primat, Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, and Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire. He has collaborated with Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, and Baccarat, and his work appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man II."
