Victoria Beckham Opens SoHo Flagship at 150 Mercer Street

Victoria Beckham has opened her first U.S. flagship store at 150 Mercer Street in New York's SoHo district, marking a significant milestone for the brand she founded in New York in 2008. The store, which also serves as a retail space for her ready-to-wear, fragrance, and beauty lines, was co-designed with artist Alexander May and designer Ole Lund, incorporating Art Deco influences from artist Tamara de Lempicka. The interior features a Gio Ponti lantern, Pierre Augustin Rose sofas, and handcrafted brass rails, creating a warm, home-like atmosphere. Beckham described the opening as a 'full-circle moment,' noting that her teams are based in London and New York, and having retail spaces in both cities feels special. The design was influenced by her Fall/Winter 2026 collection, which was shown in Paris earlier in the year, and reflects a tension between masculine and feminine aesthetics. The store's launch assortment includes the Sloane Frame Bag and Harlow Mules. Beckham emphasized the importance of making the space feel welcoming and intimate, with soft furnishings and rich tones, while preserving the building's original character. The store is part of her strategy to expand her brand's physical presence, following the opening of a London store. The flagship is located in one of the city's most-watched shopping districts, and Beckham expressed hope that customers will enjoy the curated edit for New York.
