Vestigia 2026 Challenges 'Collectible' Label in Tuscany

The second edition of Vestigia, an independent cultural platform dedicated to contemporary design, has launched at Villa Marie in Vorno, Tuscany. Curated by Cosimo Bonciani, the exhibition titled 'Don't Call Me Collectible!' will be open until September 26, 2026, showcasing over twenty contributors in an outdoor environment. Engaging talks for visitors are also part of the program. Artist Costantino Gucci (Florence, 1992) showcases 'Altera', a reflective monolith situated in the lake. The exhibition critiques the concept of 'collectible design', focusing on 'research design' and cultural significance. It features local materials such as Pietra Serena and Breccia Medicea, while also repurposing waste from the Lucca paper industry. Founded by Jonathan Bocca, the platform seeks to inspire curiosity and plans to grow while preserving its independence and Tuscan heritage.
