Vesper Night at Venice's Hotel Nani Mocenigo Marks 20 Years of Casino Royale
The "Vesper Night" event took place at Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, commemorating 20 years since the release of Casino Royale (2006–2026) with Daniel Craig. Attendees adhered to a Total Black dress code. The Palazzo Barbarigo Nani Mocenigo, a late-15th-century structure associated with Doge Agostino Barbarigo, features a Madonna and Child altarpiece by Giovanni Bellini and was transformed into an early museum by Bernardo Nani. A trompe l'oeil ceiling from 1772 by Jacopo Guarana adorns the second floor. The garden displayed vintage projections and Bond-inspired music, while a gaming room recreated the film's casino atmosphere. Gennaro Florio crafted the Venice Vesper cocktail, complemented by Raffaele Iasevoli's cuisine, and the winner received artwork from Angelo Muriotto.
