Veronica Montanino's Immersive Fabric Installation at Galleria Gallerati
At Galleria Gallerati in Rome, Veronica Montanino presents 'Come In!', an immersive installation that envelops visitors in color, dissolving boundaries between interior and exterior, art and life. The artist, who teaches at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, has covered all four walls of the small gallery with dyed fabric panels, creating a total artwork where color becomes the protagonist. The fabrics bear impressions of dried leaves and plants stamped with India ink, adding organic texture. Montanino, born in 1973, has a 20-year career spanning painting, installations, and site-specific works, including interventions at Palazzo Collicola Arti Visive in Spoleto (2010) and the MAAM in Rome (2012–2014). She participated in the 54th Venice Biennale's Italian Pavilion at the Arsenale (2011) and has been featured on Rai Arte (2015). The exhibition runs from May 14 to June 30, 2026.
