Veronica Mishaan Renovates 580-Square-Metre Bogotá Penthouse with Bold Patterns and Art Collection
In Bogotá, Colombia, local designer Veronica Mishaan transformed a 580-square-metre penthouse, seamlessly integrating family living with spaces for entertaining while highlighting the clients' collection of art and antiques. The design incorporates custom oak flooring and floral patterns, complemented by smooth marmorino plaster in the living areas. Grasscloth wallpaper enhances the dining room, primary bedroom, and family room. Guests are welcomed by a staircase with a cast bronze railing and an Elsa Foulon pendant. The living area features an antique Aubusson rug and bespoke furniture, while the office boasts blue lacquered bookcases and a blue-leopard carpet. The primary bedroom showcases indigo wallpaper and original sinks, and the dining room is adorned with a chandelier and custom chairs. Custom bunks and a playroom cater to grandchildren. Mishaan highlighted the unique compositional balance of the project. Photography by Max Burkhalter.
