Van Cleef & Arpels Unveils Five New Alhambra Creations in Translucent Pink Enamel
Van Cleef & Arpels has introduced five new pieces in the Vintage Alhambra and Magic Alhambra lines, showcasing translucent pink enamel. These offerings include a long necklace, a necklace, a pendant, a bracelet, and earrings, all adorned with gold-beaded edges. The Alhambra Collection, which takes inspiration from the four-leaf clover, was first launched in 1968. The fresh pink shade employs a 17th-century 'gold-ruby' technique that incorporates fine gold particles. Catherine Renier, the President and CEO, explained that the tiny bubbles in the vibrant pink enamel are the result of thorough research. Since 1906, enamel has played a crucial role in the Maison, with significant applications noted in the 1930s, 1950s, and 2006. The collection has continuously evolved, incorporating various golds, stones, and meticulous craftsmanship to maintain high quality.
