USPS Releases Linda McCartney Forever Stamps with MoMA First-Day Ceremony
A new set of Forever stamps celebrating Linda McCartney's photography has been released by the United States Postal Service. The unveiling took place at 11 a.m. ET during a first-day-of-issue event at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. This stamp pane features 20 stamps showcasing five distinct images from McCartney's nature and still-life photography. Designed by USPS art director Derry Noyes, these stamps honor McCartney, who passed away in 1998. Initially recognized as a photographer in the 1960s, she captured notable musicians, including her husband Paul McCartney. Her work has been displayed in the U.S. and at prestigious venues in England. The stamps can be purchased at Post Offices and the USPS online store.
