architecture-design · 2026-07-19

U.GA Architects has completed Urban Egg, a mixed-use building in Busan's Jeonpo-dong district, once an industrial alley now transformed into the vibrant Jeollidan-gil. The 454 m² project, completed in 2025, creates a spatial 'crack' in the street flow, bridging the area's industrial past with contemporary sensibilities. The design team includes Soon-jung Shim, Hyo-kyung Kwon, and principal architect Dae-woo Yu, with general contractor Wiz Construction Co., Ltd. Photographs by Sangin Nam document the structure.
