Upon Harbor by tip architects: Revitalizing the Mundet Factory into a 14,700 m² Hotel and Entertainment Complex

A Portuguese architectural firm called tip architects, led by Tiago Palmela, has unveiled plans for 'Upon Harbor,' a new hotel and entertainment venue covering 14,700 m². Set to open in 2026, this project, managed by Susanna Moreira, will creatively repurpose the Mundet factory, respecting its industrial heritage while blending it with the surrounding area. The design team includes talent like Eduardo Marvão, Beatriz Agostinho, and others. A400 is in charge of structural engineering, OMF oversees MEP engineering, and interior design is handled by Atelier Catarina and Staging Factory. The project’s concept was developed through an in-depth study of the site and its history, with photos by Fernando Guerra | FG+SG. It aims to incorporate hospitality, entertainment, and lodging.
