UNStudio completes Korean Football Park with two stadiums in Cheonan
UNStudio, a Dutch architectural firm, has finalized the Korean Football Park in Cheonan, South Korea. Spanning 450,000 square meters, this campus will serve as the new headquarters for the Korean Football Association (KFA). The facility includes two stadiums: an outdoor venue with 1,500 seats, featuring aluminum louvres, and an indoor stadium topped with an arched glass roof. Additionally, the complex comprises 11 football fields, a sports museum, retail areas, healthcare services, youth housing, a women's training center, and a hotel. Developed with input from Johan Cruijff ArenA advisors in Amsterdam, the campus is structured into zones that transition from public to private, connected by a main road.
