UNAL Sede La Paz Classroom and Lab Building by Taller de Arquitectura

The Universidad Nacional de Colombia Sede La Paz has just wrapped up a new facility that includes classrooms, labs, and wellness areas, designed by Taller de Arquitectura Universidad Nacional Sede Manizales. This building spans 7,629 m² and was completed in 2025, marking the second phase of campus growth that started fifteen years ago. Its goal is to boost research and wellness in the often-overlooked Cesar area. The project featured architects like Edison Henao Carvajal, Isabel Llanos Chaparro, and Estefanía Marín Murillo, with a design team that included Mateo Useche and others. Obreval was in charge of construction, while the university oversaw the project, and photography came from Andrea García and her colleagues.
