Tylko Sound: Modular Hi-Fi Speakers Integrated into Custom Shelving

Tylko, a furniture company based in Warsaw, has introduced Tylko Sound, a high-fidelity speaker system that is designed to fit perfectly with its customizable shelving units. The lineup features the Tylko Coax Speaker (available in versions with and without Bass Reflex) and the Tylko Subwoofer, enabling users to begin with one speaker and grow into a complete home audio setup. Crafted in Poland from Baltic birch plywood and coated in high-gloss lacquer, the speakers come in Signal Red, Mint Green, and Chalk White. This initiative was inspired by architect Paul Cournet from Rotterdam Practice Cloud, who noted that Tylko’s modular shelving offers a natural sound grid. Collaborating with Rotterdam’s Form Follows Frequency, Tylko ensured superior acoustic performance. Co-founder Ben Kuna highlights that the system starts at €491, making hi-fi more accessible. Tylko Sound is a limited edition available in select European countries, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France.
