Turner Prize winner Duncan Campbell opens new work at GoMA for 30th anniversary

The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in Glasgow has introduced an exciting new piece by Duncan Campbell, a Turner Prize-winning artist. Named A New No, this installation will be featured in GoMA's main gallery during the final months of its 30th anniversary celebrations, organized by Glasgow Life. Since the mid-1990s, Campbell has been based in Glasgow, where he pursued a Masters at The Glasgow School of Art. He represented Scotland at the Venice Biennale in 2013, curated by The Common Guild, and won the Turner Prize in 2014 for that contribution. A New No marks his first significant exhibition in a Scottish venue since then, showcasing a flip-disc electromagnetic screen that brings graphic images to life.
