Turkish Girl Group manifest Make UK Debut at Wembley Arena After Public Decency Case

Turkish pop group manifest played their first UK concert at Wembley Arena on 16 October 2026, roughly a year after a Turkish court convicted the six members over their stage outfits and choreography. The Istanbul case, opened after an over-18s concert, ended with suspended sentences of three months and 22 days; a travel ban was later lifted. Formed in February last year through the reality competition Big5 Türkiye, the band — Sueda Uluca, Lidya Pınar, Mina Solak, Zeynep Sude Oktay, Hilal Yelekçi and Esin Bahat — was mentored by Gülçin Ergül, formerly of Hepsi. They now draw more than six million monthly Spotify listeners. In London they released their first English-language single, TRALALA, which led YouTube's daily music video chart ahead of Shakira and Taylor Swift, and was shot in east London with a mostly British crew. Netflix cameras filmed a Thames boat party for a six-part documentary. About 300 fans attended a signing at a Turkish restaurant. The Wembley set opened with Hileli and TRALALA and included covers of One Direction, the Spice Girls and the Pussycat Dolls, with I Will Survive sung in Turkish. Yelekçi said the group next aims for Coachella.
