Turf Hues Expands Acoustic Color Palette at NeoCon 2026
Turf has introduced 10 new tones for its Hues palette during NeoCon 2026, held at the Turf Design Experience Center, Suite 10-1048. The expansion brings the total collection to 42 colors, developed in collaboration with CMF expert Carolyn Ames Noble. The new selection integrates with Turf's existing Wood Grains, Wood Textures, and Stone Textures collections, allowing architects and designers to create intentional color, texture, and material combinations. Based on neuroaesthetics, the palette includes warm beiges and browns, vibrant blues, intense greens, and expressive oranges, aimed at influencing perception and well-being in interior spaces. Turf president Robert MacMeccan stated that the company designs acoustic solutions that actively contribute to emotional and sensory experiences. The tones can serve as visual protagonists or complementary layers, enhancing focus in quiet areas and stimulating interaction in social zones. The collection is made from 9mm PET felt with 60% pre-consumer recycled content, reinforcing Turf's commitment to acoustic performance, durability, visual expression, and material responsibility. The announcement was featured in Glocal Design Magazine's 89th edition, "Visionarias del espacio," which profiles 15 female architects and interior designers in Mexico, with cover designs by Prince Láuder and Jimena Estíbaliz.
