Tsuyoshi Tane articula la memoria como motor del diseño arquitectónico en entrevista con Louisiana Channel

Tsuyoshi Tane, a Japanese architect born in Tokyo in 1979 and currently based in Paris, established his firm, Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects (ATTA), in 2006. In a recent interview, he introduced his design philosophy termed "Future Archaeology," where he critiques contemporary planning methods. Tane emphasizes the distinction between space and place, suggesting that much of 20th-century architecture failed to create genuine environments. His notable works comprise the National Museum of Estonia (2016), the Hirosaki Contemporary Art Museum (2020), The Tane Garden House (2023), and a new section for the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, projected for completion in 2036. In 2022, he was honored as Chevalier of l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
