Trump Accuses LeBron James of Disrespecting US Anthem at Philadelphia Opener
On Thursday, former President Donald Trump criticized NBA player LeBron James for allegedly showing disrespect during the national anthem at a Philadelphia 76ers game earlier in the week. Trump posted a clip online where James was seen warming up instead of standing in reverence while his teammates honored the anthem. He labeled James a "TOTAL DISGRACE" and demanded an apology to veterans who fought for the flag. This confrontation adds to the continuing tension between Trump and the famed athlete, particularly significant as it coincides with James’s inaugural season with the 76ers.
