Triennale Milano unveils Bauhaus-inspired uniforms by Alessandra Facchinetti
Triennale Milano has launched a new uniform collection designed by Alessandra Facchinetti, former creative director of Gucci, Valentino, and Tod's. The project is part of the institution's fashion department, established in 2024 under Luca Stoppini and Marco Sammicheli. The uniforms cover four areas: cultural mediators, security, the Voce music venue, and restaurants Cucina and Terrazza. Facchinetti drew inspiration from workwear, Bauhaus geometries, and the Triennale's architecture, developing a signature triangular pleat. The color palette references the Palazzo dell'Arte's marble greys and travertine greens. Production was handled by Older Studio, a Danish-Italian company, using Italian-sourced materials and European manufacturing with compostable packaging.
