Totally Thames 2026 unveils second wave with 80+ events

The Totally Thames festival has revealed its second wave of programming for 2026, showcasing more than 80 events throughout London during September. This month-long event emphasizes the River Thames as a center for culture, heritage, and environmental awareness. Activities will include immersive performances, free family-friendly events, and community gatherings in various settings, such as historic ships, riverside landmarks, hidden tunnels, and public areas. A key feature is Culture Cargo (1–30 September), which will convert the historic sailing barge Raybel into a mobile cultural venue as it journeys from the Thames Estuary to central London, making stops at riverside communities. The festival encourages both Londoners and visitors to engage with the Thames as a vibrant landscape influenced by local communities, histories, and creativity.
