Tony Cragg's Ocean of Drops at Ca' Tron During Venice Biennale 2026

From May 5 to June 28, 2026, Tony Cragg's solo exhibition, titled Ocean of Drops, will be showcased at Ca' Tron during the 61st Venice Biennale, presented by Fondazione Berengo and Berengo Studio. The exhibition features a significant glass sculpture created in Murano, which serves as its centerpiece. In addition, large-scale sculptures crafted from wood and stone delve into the fundamental structures of materials, reflecting atoms, molecules, and particles while examining the interplay between the micro and macro, as well as the interior and exterior. British-German sculptor Tony Cragg, born in Liverpool in 1949, won the Turner Prize in 1988 and has represented Britain at the Venice Biennale. Since 1989, Fondazione Berengo, established by Adriano Berengo, has led in glass art collaborations, launching the Glasstress series in 2009 and collaborating with over 400 artists, including notable figures like Laure Prouvost, Thomas Schütte, and Ai Weiwei.
