Tiziano Ionta's 'L'Attimo Sospeso' Brings Dynamic Photography to Viterbo's Underpass

The Galleria Sottopasso in Viterbo is hosting 'L'Attimo Sospeso', a solo exhibition by photographer Tiziano Ionta, from September 1 to 30, 2026. The show is displayed in the underpass of Piazza Francesco Crispi, a space typically associated with transit and hurried movement, creating a deliberate paradox with the theme of suspended moments. Ionta, who has over thirty years of experience covering concerts, war reportage, and humanitarian missions, presents a more intimate and reflective body of work compared to his previous exhibition at the same venue, which focused on the Jubilee of Young People and the crystallization of unique moments. The gallery, conceived as an 'artistic score' by the PantaCZ project and directed by Carlo Alvise Crispolti, aims to transform the underpass into a contemplative space. The exhibition is accessible all day throughout September.
