Timur Si-Qin Opens 'Pristine, Part I' at Albion Jeune During Frieze Week

exhibition · 2026-10-10

On 12th October 2026, Timur Si-Qin's exhibition titled Pristine, Part I will debut at Albion Jeune in London, remaining open until 14th November 2026, in conjunction with Frieze Week. This exhibition delves into the concept of untouched wilderness in the Peruvian Amazon and the connections between ancient species. The new sculptures, inspired by Amazonian flora, challenge the notion of pristine forests. Si-Qin integrates nature with technology through 3D printing, light boxes, and virtual reality, advancing his New Peace initiative focused on climate change and ecological issues. Born in Berlin in 1984, Si-Qin has showcased his work globally, including solo exhibitions in Sydney (2025) and Beijing (2024). His first monograph is anticipated for Spring 2027, published by Albion Jeune.
