Tim Maguire Joins Michael Reid Gallery Roster, Solo Exhibition Scheduled for 2026

Michael Reid Sydney + Berlin has added artist Tim Maguire to its represented artists. Maguire, an Australian painter who also works in France, will debut a solo show at the gallery in early 2026. His practice, spanning over forty years, involves painting, printmaking, and digital techniques, creating large works that transition from abstract fields to recognizable images based on viewing distance. Gallery director Michael Reid cited a three-decade history of acquiring Maguire's work for clients. The artist is noted for floral subjects and a process merging digital and traditional methods. Maguire gained early recognition with the 1993 Moët & Chandon fellowship, and his art is in major Australian public collections.
