Tim Curry's Iconic Roles Revisited in Final Video Interview

Following the death of actor Tim Curry, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released a video six months prior in which Curry reflects on his most defining roles. The video, posted on YouTube, covers his performances in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Legend, Stephen King's It, and Muppet Treasure Island, the latter being his personal favorite. Curry also discusses roles he missed, including Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park and Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs, which he desperately wanted to play. Additionally, he reveals that he shot a fourth ending for Clue, in which his character, the butler, is the murderer, but it was never released because it was deemed too obvious. The video was highlighted by Open Culture, which also noted Curry's stage work in Amadeus, Spamalot, and productions of Stoppard, Brecht, and Shakespeare.
