Thomas Fotomas: Surf Photography as Visual Poetry

French photographer Thomas Fotomas, born in southwestern France and trained as a graphic designer, has centered his visual research on the sea and surfing since 2010. His photographs transform the beach into a mental space of liquid light, saturated colors, and lines that seem to drag movement into the image. Surfers, waves, and sunsets become abstract traces immersed in unreal atmospheres, evoking long exposures and digital painting.
