The Lake Como Edition Opens with Design-Forward Luxury and a Nod to Contemporary Art
In spring 2023, Cadenabbia welcomed the Lake Como Edition, a luxury hotel that redefines lakeside elegance. Set within a beautifully restored 19th-century palazzo with views of Bellagio, this 148-room establishment was crafted by Kirstin Bailey, Paul Haslhofer, Neri&Hu, and De.Tales. It boasts original vaulted ceilings, striking marble features, and contemporary decor, including a staircase inspired by Carlo Scarpa. The accommodations are adorned with European white oak flooring and Calacatta marble. Guests can enjoy a floating pool designed by Omnam Design Studio and culinary offerings from chef Mauro Colagreco at two restaurants: Cetino and Renzo. The Longevity Spa provides wellness services. During the Lake Como Design Festival, limited-edition paddleboards by Conie Vallese and Beau Lake were showcased, establishing the hotel as a modern counterpart to Il Sereno.
