The Art House: A Bespoke Delhi Residence by Spaces Architects@KA

In New Delhi, Spaces Architects@KA has completed The Art House, a 9,000-square-foot residence commissioned by a prominent entrepreneur who demanded total originality. The client's brief was explicit: "I want something no one has ever seen." The design rejects familiar typologies, creating a curated living environment where art pieces, sculptures, architecture, furniture, fixtures, and lighting were developed exclusively for the space. The project is led by principal architect Kapil Aggarwal, with a team including Vikrant Dhakrey and Muskan Arora. Interior design and furniture were handled by Spaces Architects@KA, with HVAC and MEP consulting by Atmos Aircon, structural engineering by Reliable Consulting Engineers, lighting consultancy by Ankur Lights, acoustic engineering by Odeowave, project management by Praveen Sharma, and interior styling by Gaura Batra. Suppliers include Gessi, Hettich, Kohler, Hansgrohe, and Aluk. The project is slated for completion in 2026. Photographs are by Bharat Aggarwal.
