The Art Film Fest Returns to Rome's GNAMC for Third Edition

Key facts

• Third edition of The Art Film Fest (TAFF) takes place on September 21 at 18:00 in the Sala delle Colonne of the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GNAMC) in Rome.
• TAFF is created by Inside Art and promoted by Fondazione Patrimonio Italia and FAD – Fim Art Digital, in collaboration with GNAMC.
• The festival is dedicated to auteur documentaries and film productions exploring the visual arts.
• TAFF was founded in 2024 on the occasion of Inside Art's twentieth anniversary.
• The initiative was led by Guido Talarico, editor and director of Inside Art, and Renata Cristina Mazzantini, director of GNAMC.
• The September 21 evening will announce three winning feature films and a winning short film, a new category this year.
• The short film winner will be chosen by the public during a special evening on September 15 at the Cinema Troisi in Rome.
• The 2026 competition was open to works completed after 2021, including features and shorts, with submissions via FilmFreeway until July 31.
