The Thaddaeus Ropac gallery has assumed representation of Martha Diamond's estate, collaborating with David Kordansky Gallery. Diamond, a New York painter who passed away in 2023 at age 79, created cityscape paintings over six decades that blend abstraction and figuration. A European museum survey is scheduled for September 2026 at the Sara Hildén Museum in Tampere, Finland, with a gallery presentation planned for Paris in 2027. This move signals growing posthumous recognition for Diamond, whose work has been admired by fellow artists like Alex Katz and David Salle but remained underappreciated in the broader market. Her U.S. surveys occurred in 2024 at the Colby College Museum of Art and the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum.
