The proprietors sought to harmonize the quality of the spaces with the area's natural allure, prioritizing tranquility and ecological preservation. The design modernizes the classic mountain dwelling, incorporating schist and a streamlined material selection. While the interiors reflect aspects of the original structures, they also introduce sophisticated spatial dynamics. Each room provides a distinct perspective of the surrounding landscape. The site's protected designation enriched the project, featuring modern elements such as striking concrete cantilevers that frame vistas and invite the outdoors in, making the retreat a haven for reflection and enjoyment.
