Ted Oliver Develops Personal Brand Identity with Geometric Logo Influenced by Hans Richter
Tiago Souza Oliveira, known professionally as Ted Oliver, has created a comprehensive visual identity system for his personal brand. The art director, who grew up in Pirenópolis where he was exposed to architectural and cultural forms from childhood, developed this identity to enhance his online presence. The project included a logo monogram using the letters "T" and "O" arranged in disruptive geometric shapes that create a sense of dynamism and movement, drawing aesthetic inspiration from artist Hans Richter. Additional elements of the identity system include brand guidelines, animated components, business cards, institutional materials, and a portfolio website. The design employs a disruptive hierarchy for typography, consistently placing main titles in the upper left corner and supporting text in the lower right to suggest zooming or scaling effects similar to editing software interfaces. Holographic hot stamping was incorporated to convey movement and the infinite possibilities of design. The project involved multiple collaborators including photographer Pedro Morais and translator Clarice Carvalho, with Ted Oliver serving as creation director and handling video and motion elements.
