Tecno Camon Slim 5G Phone Features Artist-Inspired Colorways

Tecno has unveiled the Camon Slim 5G, an ultra-thin smartphone measuring 6.39mm, which draws aesthetic inspiration from famous artists. The device is available in five colorways, including Neo Mondrian, Matisse Black, and Van Gogh Blue, alongside a standard burgundy red. The Van Gogh Blue variant references Vincent van Gogh's 'Starry Night' with a patterned gradient that appears to rotate, while Neo Mondrian employs photochromic technology to shift between white and color blocks reminiscent of Piet Mondrian's grid compositions. Tecno describes the phone as 'a work of art you hold in your hand,' emphasizing its role as a personal style statement. The camera system includes a triple rear array with a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700C main sensor, a 2x telephoto, and a 0.6x ultra-wide lens, though details on the latter two are pending. AI features such as AI LightMaster 2.0 and AI Snap Poster enhance image processing, and Tecno Universal Tone claims to deliver accurate skin tones. Additionally, a magnetic 'Mag Badge' accessory with a 1.73-inch AMOLED display can be used for remote camera control and selfie previews. The phone is rated IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 for durability, features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED 144Hz display, and is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300e 5G processor.
