Taron Marukyan: Minimalist Abstraction and the Power of Restraint

Taron Marukyan, an artist born in Armenia in 1989, has cultivated a contemporary painting style that emphasizes abstract minimalism, using reduction as a means to enhance intensity. His large-scale oil on canvas pieces feature broad strokes, calculated divisions, and intentional voids, resulting in powerful yet reflective compositions.
