Tanzania Pavilion at Venice Biennale Announces Special Events with Sasha Vinci and Ciro Palumbo

The National Pavilion of the United Republic of Tanzania at the 61st Venice Biennale has organized two Special Events – Diary #02 and #03 as part of its exhibition "Minor Frequencies: The Inner Life Of A Nation." Diary #02 features Sasha Vinci's "La Luce delle Ombre" (III Act of the Trilogia delle Ombre), curated by Martina Cavallarin and supported by Artesicura. The installation transforms the exhibition space into an immersive environment combining sound, light, and sculpture, addressing themes of territorial abuse and human fragility. Vinci's performance on June 12, inspired by the Scicli "Uomo Vivo" festival, will not be repeated. Diary #03 presents Ciro Palumbo's solo show "Silent Crossings," also curated by Cavallarin and supported by Artesicura, opening June 19. Palumbo, known for his metaphysical painting, explores interior journeys through imagery of travelers, boats, and suspended architectures. Both events take place at Gervasuti Foundation at Supernova in Venice from June 13–21 and June 20–28, 2026, respectively.
