Talia Chetrit's First Spanish Exhibition 'Bunny' Closes at Museo Lázaro Galdiano

The Museo Lázaro Galdiano in Madrid is currently hosting 'Bunny', the inaugural exhibition of photographer Talia Chetrit in Spain, which runs until August 30. Curated by Stella Bottai and organized by the LOEWE Foundation for PHotoESPAÑA 2026, the showcase spans nearly thirty years of Chetrit's work, delving into themes such as vulnerability, provocation, and theatricality. The collection features a range of pieces, from the intimate 'Boob Chair (Lygia Pape), 2021' to the grand 'Ella/Plastic Bottle, 2026'. This exhibition also explores concepts of family, sexuality, and identity, incorporating symbols like chains and bottles. 'Bunny' celebrates 15 years of partnership between the LOEWE Foundation and PHotoESPAÑA, following previous exhibitions on Dora Maar and the Surrealist Centenary. Chetrit's art is included in prominent collections like the Whitney Museum and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
