Taipei Fine Arts Museum Presents "Attunement: Contemporary Politics between Mindscape and Soundscape"
"Attunement: Contemporary Politics between Mindscape and Soundscape," curated by Hsu Fang-Tze, is on display at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum from July 4 to September 27, 2026. This exhibition explores attunement as a moral response to climate crisis and societal violence. Featured artworks include Yuan Jai's ink pieces Shifting Hills (2000) and Long River (2002), Tarek Atoui's Pulses in 11 (2020), Nguyen Trinh Thi's 47 Days, Sound-less (2024), and Kei Imazu and Bagus Pandega's Artificial Green by Nature Green 4.3 (2025/26). Noteworthy works also comprise Lawrence Abu Hamdan's Zifzafa: A Livestream Audio Essay (2025), Chen Ting-Jung's You Are the Only One I Care About (whisper) (2018), and Susan Schuppli's Listening to Ice (2021), suggesting that curating itself can be a form of attunement.
