Tabula Rasa Visual Arts Festival Returns to Civitanova Marche with Sixth Edition

The sixth edition of Tabula Rasa Visual Arts Festival will take place from July 3 to 5 in Civitanova Marche, Italy. The interdisciplinary festival, directed by artist Giulio Vesprini, focuses on visual arts including urban art, architecture, graphic design, photography, and illustration. This year's theme is 'Public Volume,' reflecting on the piazza as the archetypal architectural volume and public meeting space. The program includes two major exhibitions: 'Alphabet City – Esercizi di Urban Art,' in collaboration with Accademia AANT di Roma, and 'Viaggi Fotografici Minimi,' returning after seven years with works by Giulio Vesprini, Giulio Contigiani, and Alessandro Cesaretti. The Tabula Market will take place on July 4 and 5 at Giardini del Lido Cluana, featuring independent publications, artist books, fanzines, and graphic projects. Tabula Talks will host figures from the Italian independent publishing scene. A film screening of 'Duomo 54' by Nicolò Piccione, about the transformation of Milan's Ortica district, is scheduled for July 4 at 21:15. Workshops include ceramics with Ultrafragola, kokedama with Artemisia, linography with Nero fumo 680, cyanotype with Thomas Cesaretti, and zen doodling with Laura Martellini. The festival also promotes the Museo di arte urbana Vedo a Colori, a street art museum in the port area featuring works by over 100 Italian artists.
