Swinburne University of Technology Students Present Papermaking Centre and Design Projects
DucThang Pham's Paper Nest is highlighted in Dezeen School Shows, representing the School of Design and Architecture at Swinburne University of Technology. Featured projects include Park Weave, designed by Brendan David O'Mahony and Pablo de Lascurain Zambrano, which suggests medium-density housing for well-educated individuals in Brunswick East, Melbourne. Kina Kavak's Mutt. A Comic-Inspired Typeface examines the significance of typography in print culture. Giulia Cilotti Bueno's Mira Living supports dementia patients, while Alyssa Payad's Made/Human promotes the value of analogue creation. Joice Gia Linh Nguyen's Beyond the Senses provides therapeutic experiences. Nam Bui has designed BrickHaus, a three-storey apartment in Brunswick.
