Svenskt Tenn Showcases Anna Petrus in 'Sequence of Spaces' at Stockholm Flagship
At Strandvägen 5 in Stockholm, Svenskt Tenn is presenting 'Sequence of Spaces,' an exhibition honoring Swedish designer Anna Petrus (1886–1949), which will run until 18 October 2026. This showcase includes sculptures from the company's collection as well as pieces loaned by the Petrus family. The scenography, crafted by artist Elvira Solana, draws inspiration from Petrus's 1916 exhibition. Two lesser-known works by Petrus have been reissued: the Lion table lamp and a mirror frame from 1929. Additionally, a surrealist chessboard by Marie-Louise Idestam-Blomberg (1898–1988) has also been reintroduced. Petrus began her collaboration with Svenskt Tenn following her gold medal win at the 1925 Exposition Internationale, with the exhibition aiming to familiarize a new audience with her legacy.
