A new class of exterior composites moves beyond plastic, incorporating recycled content, bio-based materials, and other sustainable alternatives. BastWave by Margent Form uses hemp fibers and bioresin with high carbon sequestration for corrugated panels and rainscreens. Fiberon's Wildwood Cladding Sahara Collection, inspired by desert hues, includes a new Bamboo shade and is manufactured with recycled water, comprising 94% recycled content. WVH's Plaank Exterior Slat Panels offer a durable wood-and-recycled-plastic composite for all-weather performance. Front's WasteBasedBricks convert construction waste into building material with 60% reused waste. Steni Nature by Steni provides 14 stone surface designs with recycled glass content. Abet Laminati's MEG exterior phenolic cladding, updated with new designs, works in ventilated facade systems.
