“Surrealismos” Exhibition in Brazil Expands Surrealism Beyond Europe
In 2026, Brazil will host the exhibition “Surrealismos: Arte para além da razão,” curated by Max Perlingeiro, with co-curation beginning in 2016-2017. The showcase will include pieces from private collections in the Northeast, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo, featuring three photomontages by Guignard and two by Jorge de Lima.
