Sunshine 555 Agricultural Store and Café in Khao Yai by SO

architecture-design · 2026-06-10

SO has completed the Sunshine 555 Agricultural Store and Café in Khao Yai, Thailand, a 750 m² project curated by Miwa Negoro. The design integrates with a tamarind tree tunnel, using the natural canopy as architecture. A gabled roof splits into two gestures: a gently curving section for the café and a long, straight section clad in free-form black slate that filters light. The project team includes lead architect Narong Othavorn, designer Prasit Sukcharoen, technical engineer Jirapong Amornsak, and builder Toom-Ice. Photographs are by Soopakorn Srisakul. The project was completed in 2025.
