Sunjin Vietnam Designs Nghia Do Kindergarten with Elliptical Classrooms and Colorful Louvers in Hanoi
The Nghia Do Kindergarten in Cau Giay, Hanoi, has been completed by Sunjin Vietnam Joint Venture Company. Spanning 5,302 sqm, the facility comprises 20 classrooms designed to accommodate around 600 children, all arranged around a central courtyard. A spacious playground, encircled by classroom blocks, serves to shield the school from noise and traffic. The architectural design incorporates elliptical shapes to promote natural ventilation and sightlines across the playground. Classrooms feature adaptable interiors and separate entrances for adults and children. A colorful louver system minimizes solar heat and noise while permitting natural light. Additionally, the roof boasts green areas and a play zone, improving outdoor space, ventilation, and visual connectivity. The project was submitted to designboom and edited by Christina Vergopoulou.
