Suarez High Jewellery Meets Old Masters at Museo Lázaro Galdiano in Madrid

exhibition · 2026-10-22

The "Suarez. Un diálogo con el Arte" exhibition at Madrid's Museo Lázaro Galdiano marks the first collaboration between historical jewels and modern pieces from the Spanish brand Suarez, alongside the museum's renowned artworks. Curated by Eloy Martínez de la Pera, this showcase will be open until 25 October and highlights over eighty years of the brand's legacy. The exhibition is structured around four key themes: Origen, Legado, Artesanía, and Contemporaneidad. It opens in the Pórtico with an installation that draws inspiration from art-transport crates, featuring both historical and contemporary jewels alongside masterpieces like Sofonisba Anguissola's Eleonora de Medici (c. 1580) and Luis Paret's La Tienda (1772). The Sala Sinfonía features Suarez's new Icono collection, presented through an installation by Amaya Hernández, with photography by José María Martín.
